The Model 8 is a Linux-embedded stand-alone 8 channel high-performance network video recorder. A fully Internet Explorer browser enabled network video recorder that, can display, record and playback real time MJPEG, MPEG4 and H.264 video streams transmitted from any VITEK IP camera or video server over a TCP/IP network. It also supports over 80 other major brands of IP cameras with free monthly updates. The Model 8 features one-click setup and automatic internet connection without needing to adjust router settings. One-click setup automatically adds cameras on the network. Automatic internet connection establishes internet access for the Model 8 without needing to adjust any router settings, including ports.
